Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for Ovarian Cancer

A personal tragedy prompted Sasha Nadezhikin from OL' Painting to climb Mt Kilimanjaro in support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

Sasha and his partner Oleksandra will undertake the 5,896m climb in February next year in remembrance of his mother.

Three years ago Sasha's mother was diagnosed with the disease. She died 9 months later.

Sasha is looking to raise money to support the development of a vaccine and cure for a disease that strikes 1 in 70 women in Australia each year.
