All Licensees and Certificate holders must complete a minimum of 12 points of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each year. CPD is aimed at maximising consumer protection, maintaining public confidence and reducing disputes.

Strata Community Australia (NSW) offers half day courses, which on completion, will earn the attendee 12 CPD Points.

We also offer CPD by Distance Education for those who cannot make it to our scheduled sessions as well as CPD Direct sessions where we can bring this course directly to your office if you have 15 or more staff participating.

This years topic for CPD is "The Vertical and Horizontal Community and other Schemes" this topic is an overview of the Vertical Community being building Management Committees/Strata Sub-Division and the Horizontal Community being Neighbourhood, Precinct and Community Schemes. You will also explore other types of schemes such as Associations, Company Title and schemes under the new Co-Op Legislation. An opportunity will also take place for a short review on the latest information regarding the Work Health and Safety Act 2012.

All our CPD courses including CPD Direct and CPD Distance are free for our members (Licensed and Associate Chapter) and $395.00 for others including non members.
