The Certificate of Registration course is for people wishing to work in the strata industry as a Registered Strata Managing Agent.
Completion of the course satisfies the education requirements of the Property Stock and Business Agents Act 2002 and allows you to apply for registration as a Strata Managing Agent with NSW Fair Trading.
This five day course provides you with an overview of the property industry and the skills to work as a Strata Managing Agenet. You will learn the basic legal, financial and procedural requirements to work effectively within an office and provide services to Owners Corporations.
The Certificate of Registration course contains classroom instruction, group activities and take-home assessment tasks. You are required to attend 31 hours of classroom based instruction. The assessment tasks and projects are expected to take you a further 30 hours to complete. You will attend the course in our North Sydney office Monday to Friday each day of the course week from 9:00am until approximately 4.30pm.
The Certificate of Registration course is competency based and consists of 3 units of competency from the CPP3037 Certificate III Property Services (Operations).
The course is nationally recognised training. You will be issued with a Statement of Attainment on successful completion of the units of competency.
Recognition of Prior Learning and Recognition of Current Competencies is an assessment process that is available to applicants who have many years of experience within this or similar industries. If you think you may be eligible, click here to find out more about this specific process.
