CPP40609 Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations)

Strata Community Australia (NSW) (SCA NSW), the peak industry body for the Strata Management Industry in New South Wales, is in partnership with Strata Community Australia (QLD) (SCA QLD), in delivering this qualification.

This is a significant course as the Certificate IV in Property Services (operations) provides the educational requirements to become a Licenced Strata Managing Agent with Fair Trading NSW.

Currently there are 70,200 Strata Schemes in NSW incorporating low, medium and high rise units, townhouses and terraces. This is growing at average of almost 1,100 schemes each year. It is anticipated that at least 50% of all new dwellings will be contained within a Strata Scheme, over the next few years.

Whether you are ready in the industry, a member of a Strata Scheme committee, a property manager, resident manager, or real estate agent wanting to expand your knowledge, this program is a must. You will be trained by facilitators who have many years of experience within the industry and you will be given the opportunity to meet like-minded professionals, share skills and knowledge and build job networks for the future.

Topics

You will obtain skills and knowledge in areas such as:

  • Managing Strata Scheme meetings
  • Participating in contract development
  • Implementing strata management agreements
  • Managing business and reporting on financial activity
  • Coordination of maintenance and repairs
  • Managing conflicts and disputes
