Certificate of Registration

The Certificate of Registration course is for people wishing to work in the strata industry as a Registered Strata Managing Agent.

Completion of the course satisfies the education requirements of the Property Stock and Business Agents Act 2002 and allows you to apply for registration as a Strata Managing Agent with NSW Fair Trading.

This three day course provides you with an overview of the property industry and the skills to work as a Strata Managing Agent. You will learn the basic legal, financial and procedural requirements to work effectively within an office and provide services to Owners Corporations.

Classroom Delivery

The Certificate of Registration course contains classroom instruction, group activities and take-home assessment tasks. You are required to attend 31 hours of classroom based instruction. The assessment tasks and projects are expected to take you a further 30 hours to complete. You will attend the course in our Chatswood office Monday to Friday each day of the course week from 9:00am until approximately 4.30pm.

Real Estate Training Solutions Pty Ltd (RETS) is the RTO issuing this certificate (RTO ID: 90897).

Online Delivery

SCA (NSW) also offers this course online. This is the same as the face-to-face course and is run by our training providers RETS.

RETS will provide students with all the materials and support. Its a great way to study for those who cant get to  classroom.

Course content

The Certificate of Registration course is competency based and consists of 3 units of competency from the CPP30311 Certificate III Property Services (Operations).

  • CPPDSM3016A Work in the property industry
  • CPPDSM3017A Work in the strata/community management sector
  • CPPDSM3019B Communicate with clients as part of agency operations

The course is nationally recognised training. You will be issued with a Statement of Attainment on successful completion of the units of competency.

RPL/RCC
